Anna M. Gade (Ph.D. University of Chicago Divinity School, 1999) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Languages and Cultures of Asia and the Religous Studies Program. Her specialties and research interests include:  Traditions of global Islam; Qur'an; trends in religious revitalization in Muslim Southeast Asia; Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia; theory and method in the academic study of religion; anthropological approaches to religion.
