Ladinsky was a professor
of the Department of Preventive Medicine. She was Director of the Office
of International Health Affairs in the Medical School, and was the national chair of the US Committee for Scientific Cooperation
with Vietnam and Laos. She taught courses about primary care
and rural health care delivery in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand,
and the organization of Health Services and International Health.
She conducted extensive research on a variety of health care topics
in Vietnam, most recently on malaria, diabetes and Japanese encephalitis.
