Lois Anderson Lois Anderson is a professor of ethnomusicology
in the School of Music. Her teaching and research interests focus on music
cultures of the world, particularly Southeast Asia and Africa. She is
the founder of the Javanese gamelan performance group and former director
of the Center for Southeast Asian Studies.
