Mary Jo Wilson is coordinator of the Southeast Asian Studies Summer Institute (SEASSI). SEASSI is an eight-week intensive language program offering instruction in the following languages at the first-, second-, and third-year levels: Burmese, Hmong, Indonesian, Khmer, Lao, Tagalog, Thai and Vietnamese. The University of Wisconsin-Madison will host SEASSI through 2014.

Mrs. Wilson received her M.S. (1991) in Continuing and Vocational Education from the UW-Madison. She has studied Bahasa Indonesia and performs regularly with the UW-Madisonís Javanese gamelan. She has over twenty years of administrative experience at the UW, and has private sector management experience as well.
