What is SEASSI?
The Southeast Asian Studies Summer Institute (SEASSI) is an eight-week intensive language training program for undergraduates, graduate students and professionals. In summer 2017 it will be held on the UW-Madison campus, from June 19 – August 11. Instruction is offered for academic credit at the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year levels in the following languages: Burmese, Filipino, Hmong, Indonesian, Javanese, Khmer, Lao, Thai, and Vietnamese.
