This online reading group will collectively think about dispossession and dissent in Thailand. Held once a week for four weeks in April 2023

the participants in the reading group will reflect and exchange ideas about dispossession and dissent in Thailand, including recent protests for democracy and longstanding repression in the south.
Each week will be led by a different scholar:Tyrell Haberkorn (UW-Madison)
Penchan Phoborisut (CSU-Fullerton)
Taylor Easum (Indiana State University) and
Rungrawee Chalermsripinyorat (PSU-Hat Yai). Participants will be asked to read, watch and engage with selected materials prior to each meeting and to commit to attending all four sessions.
