TRANSLATIONS AND ESSAYS IN HONOR OF THE LIFE AND WORK OF AJARN KANNIKAR ELBOW
Translator’s Dedication
Ajarn Kannikar cared about her students and teaching so she created the Little Jaeng’s story. Also, you may see Thai food dishes in the story. At the time she was composing the story she said she would like to eat Hoytod and Ped Pad Ped, so she came up with the two dishes in the story. Also, the book shows how sophisticated she was to use simple words and sentences to make sure that her first year students of Thai course can read it with no difficulty and with good understanding after learning how to read.
