Badariyah (also known as Riya) is an English teacher at Mentari Islamic Junior High School in Bekasi. A graduate of IAIN Salatiga, she has been teaching English at various levels since she was in the third semester of college. In total, she has taught English for 8 years. Besides teaching, she held various positions at her university as a homeroom teacher, extracurricular coordinator, and storytelling and speech competition trainer for her students. Back in 2016 and 2017, she was an awardee of the World Culture Forum under the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture program in Bali and a World Exchange awardee under the Erasmus program in Italy focusing on food and cultures.
