New Justice in Translation: “An Open Letter from the Siamese Communist Party to the Masses on the Rule of the People’s Party,” translated and introduced by Peng Ai

The Justice in Southeast Asia Lab (JSEALab) at UW-Madison has just published a new edition of Justice in Translation that  examines the 1932 transformation from absolute to constitutional monarchy in Thailand through the lens of communist revolution.

Peng Ai, a PhD candidate at UW-Madison, has introduced and translated “An Open Letter from the Siamese Communist Party to the Masses on the Rule of the People’s Party” (暹罗共产党对民党政治告群众书).

This leaflet, produced and disseminated by the Siamese Communist Party and Siamese Communist Youth League in 1932, serves as an open critique and opposition to the newly established People’s Party government after the 1932 Revolution.
