Veronika Kusumaryati and Larry Ashmun awarded Library Collections Enhancement Initiative grant for “Changing Nature in Southeast Asia: Primary and Secondary Source Collection Development” project

Veronika Kusumaryati (Assistant Professor, Department of Anthropology) and Larry Ashmun (Southeast Asian & Hmong Studies Bibliographer) have been awarded a 2024-2025 grant from UW-Madison’s Library Collections Enhancement Initiative to carry out a Southeast Asian Studies project entitled “Changing Nature in Southeast Asia: Primary and Secondary Source Collection Development.” Materials collected will be a variety of different mediums, focusing on environmental changes in Southeast Asia. These new resources will compliment the work already being done by the Social Justice in Southeast Asia Project. This grant is supported by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation.
